Tony Gray
Our Lead Pastor, Tony Gray grew up in Martinsville, VA. God saved Tony at
the very young age of 8 and began developing in his heart at that time a passion
for the lost. Even as a child, Pastor Tony was bringing his friends to Jesus.
As Pastor Tony grew, he got very involved in his church and sensed a
calling at a young age that God wanted to do something special with his life.
Pastor Tony responded to a call to serve God and served as the Youth
Minister at Villa Heights Baptist Church in Martinsville, VA. He then came to
the Smith Mountain Lake area to serve as the Youth Minister and Associate Pastor
of Halesford Baptist Church from 2001-2011. After almost 11 years at Halesford,
Pastor Tony responded to a call from God to plant a new church in the Smith
Mountain Lake area. Pastor Tony became the founding pastor of Vitalize Church,
which launched in the Westlake area of Smith Mountain Lake on Easter Sunday in 2012.
Pastor Tony is a graduate Liberty University. He has been happily married to Stephanie for 30+ years, and has three children, Phillip, Elissa, and Micailah. Pastor Tony has nine grandchildren, whom he spoils every chance he gets. He also loves music and has had the opportunity recently to lead worship with the Vitalize Church worship team, as they are in transition. Pastor Tony's greatest passion is seeing people experience life in Christ!

Terry Colomba
Terry Colomba, the lead pastor for Vitalize Rocky Mount, is from Long Island, NY. She grew up in a non-practicing Catholic family, that celebrated Christmas and Easter without learn that they were about Jesus.
In 2006, Terry and her husband Carlos chose to leave New York and move to a different "softer" state to bring up their young twin children. On a venture to North Carolina, they stopped in Smith Mountain Lake for some rest and recognized that the people had a gentle, kind manner about them and knew at that moment this was where they were meant to be. Terry enrolled their kids in a Christian pre-school, because she believed that Jesus loved the little children - she just didn't know yet that God loved her too.
After years of trying to kill the empty void inside of her with all the things of this world, she was unable to go anymore in her own strength; but God pursued her. In 2013, God crashed in and led her to the doors of Vitalize Church one Sunday morning, where she learned of the saving grace of Jesus Christ. She learned how He will take our brokenness and make us whole, if we are willing to surrender to His ways. Terry chose to follow Jesus, and continues learn of His will and His love. As a new believer in Jesus, she was filled with the desire to bring this newfound hope to everyone around her. God called her to Vitalize Church to love, teach, and shepherd those He draws in. In 2020, Terry was ordained as a pastor of Vitalize Church, affirming God's call on her life.
